the process
1.Consultation and Communication
I begin by responding to my clients via messages (either through email or direct messages on Instagram) to maintain a clear record of all communications. This ensures that both you and I can easily share thoughts and pictures, with the ability to refer back to any information shared throughout the process. Early booking is always recommended. Please allow at least 4 week notice!
2. Initial Information Gathering
I’ll ask for key details about your event, including the overall decor concept, the number of guests (both total and how many the cake needs to serve), and your budget. This helps me suggest a cake that fits seamlessly with your event.
3. Preliminary Design and Pricing
Once I have the necessary details, I provide a rough estimate of the cake’s size, design concept, and cost. At this stage, a deposit is required to secure your booking.
4. Design Sketch
Once the deposit is received, I begin sketching a custom cake design tailored to your vision. I may also suggest multiple design variations to ensure we explore all possibilities. I’ll work closely with you, refining and adjusting the sketch until you’re completely satisfied with the final look, ensuring the cake perfectly reflects your special day.
5. Creating Your Cake
Using only the highest quality ingredients, I craft your cake with the utmost care and attention to detail, ensuring it not only looks stunning but tastes exceptional.
6. Remaining balance
I require the remaining balance to be paid in full at least seven days before the wedding. I will personally reach out to provide reminders and to arrange the payment, ensuring everything is settled well in advance of your special day.
7. Delivery and Setup
I personally deliver and set up your cake to ensure everything is perfect on the day of your event. Delivery charges are based on the event location.
